The Alliance has two different types of memberships:
Member organizations: Representatives share their organizational perspective with the Alliance. Member organization representatives form the Alliance’s Coordinating Committee. The committee is responsible for facilitating the work of the Alliance which includes strategic planning, information sharing, evaluating initiatives, etc.
Community advisors: Advisors are individuals that represent the voice of the community. They usually have personal or professional experiences in health promotion and/or public health. Community advisors typically form the Alliance’s ad-hoc Working Groups which help implement the strategic vision of the Alliance.
